There is no need to fill out an adoption application for them. They may be in a shelter or with a family. The information presented in this page has not been verified and no evaluations have been conducted.
If you are interested in one of the dogs please contact the person listed for each dog. Adoption of NIL dogs is at your own risk and is conducted directly between you and the dog’s custodian.

Owners recently moved and have a 2-year-old and another child on the way. Muus simply cannot handle the chaos that comes with young children. They are heartbroken but he is stressed from the noise 24/7 and it is extremely difficult to keep him from whining and barking and trying to herd the 2-year-old, let alone what will happen when there is a second child.
He is in good health, however his back legs have always been a little weak. He can run and go on stairs but can't really jump on a bed anymore.
He is good with other dogs but best in a home without small children.

Patches is a very good (and smart) dog, but he needs to be in a home with adulters or older children that can play with him and meet his energy demands. Deciding to rehome him has been a very difficult decision for his family since they love him, but feel it would be best for all parties to get him into a home that would be better long-term.
Patches is a very healthy dog and has not had any health issues in the time his latest owners have had him. According to our vet, he is at a healthy weight (he is just a large border collie).
He is groomed regularly and is up-to-date on all his vaccines and flea/tick/heartwork medicine, which the latter is given monthly all year long.

We are looking for the perfect home for our sweet girl Rosie🤍
Rosie is a nine year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd, born June 17, 2017. She is spayed, up to date on shots, fully house trained, crate trained, microchipped, goes to the groomer regularly, and an absolute cuddle bug. She is happiest snuggled up in bed, soaking up all the love, and would gladly spend her entire days doing just that. She’s truly the sweetest, most loving dog to her people.
That said, Rosie does not do well with young children. She has shown signs of being uncomfortable around our toddlers, although she does great with older kids (8+). She needs a home without young children. She would also do best as the only dog, as she prefers to be the alpha and can be snippy with other dogs.
This decision is heartbreaking and made purely out of love for her. She deserves a home where she doesn’t have to be separated, and where she can feel safe and adored. She has a sassy personality and hates getting her paws wet (although she loves to swim), loves to snuggle in bed, and has the biggest heart. Rosie would thrive with an adult or couple without young children who want a loyal, affectionate companion.

Benny is an incredible dog but since having a baby, Benny has shown signs of being stressed with the new dynamic in the house. They also recognize that we are not currently able to provide Benny with the same level of care, attention, and structure that they used to. They feel he deserves a home where he can feel calm, secure, and truly supported.
Benny is super energetic and not very mindful of his body/power. While he has been exposed to a baby and there have never been any issues, he would do best in a home with older children.
He is good with other dogs and has had lots of exposure to other dogs. He does have some resource guarding (with dogs not people), but generally is fine with other dogs as long as they aren't interfereing with his play (aka - work).
He is well trained, obedient, affectionate and happy-go-lucy. He can sometimes get a little too excited with initial greetings, which is something his current owners have been trying to work on.

He is very sensitive to sound, so needs someone who is experienced with Border Collies and will be patient with him. He has Mild Lumbosacral disease which simply means, unlike most Border Collies, he cannot participate in high impact sports without causing a flare up so would be best suited in a quieter, low to moderately active home. He has no issues with running, hiking, playing with dogs, and chasing toys. He’s great with other animals and children of all ages.
