The Next In Line page represents dogs that have been submitted through our relinquishment process but have not yet being fostered through MWBCR. There is no need to fill out an adoption application for them. They may be in a shelter or with a family. The information presented in this page has not been verified and no evaluations have been conducted.
If you are interested in one of the dogs please contact the person listed for each dog. Adoption of NIL dogs is at your own risk and is conducted directly between you and the dog’s custodian.
If you are interested in helping foster a dog please apply to volunteer or foster with MWBCR. Only approved foster homes can foster for MWBCR.

Welsey is a 5 year old blue heeler border collie mix rescue with a big heart who needs a great family/individual to give him what his owners, unfortunately, no longer can. He’s an active, fun loving dog who is a great companion and brings smiles to everyone he meets. He runs a bit slower than your average collie due to an injury before he was adopted but has a clean bill of health from the vet. Welsey is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, HW negative and is good with other dogs, people, and kids. Would do better living without a cat (he likes to chase them around)

Reckon is a 7 yr old purebred Border Collie who through no fault of his own has had a rough time of it and has been rehomed a couple of times, but is looking for a new place to call his forever home. He is very sensitive to sound, so needs someone who is experienced with Border Collies and will be patient with him. He has Mild Lumbosacral disease which simply means, unlike most Border Collies, he cannot participate in high impact sports without causing a flare up so would be best suited in a quieter, low to moderately active home. He has no issues with running, hiking, playing with dogs, and chasing toys. He’s great with other animals and children of all ages.
